At HM Naval Base Clyde, Babcock plays a central
role in supporting the Royal Navy’s submarine
fleet and surface vessels, delivering engineering
excellence, infrastructure management, and
nuclear facility operations.
As an apprentice at Clyde, you’ll contribute to
cutting-edge defence programmes, including the
Vanguard and Astute-class submarines, and soon
the Dreadnought-class. You could also be part
of the teams that maintain mine countermeasure
vessels, support visiting warships, and deliver
facilities management across the base.
